Manchester City has officially released the home jersey that they will use in the upcoming 2023-2024 season. The new home kit celebrates the 20th anniversary of the club’s historic move to the Etihad Stadium.
Manchester City and PUMA unveiled the new home kit a few hours ago. This kit pays homage to the stadium’s iconic features.
Launching the club’s official website, the new uniform pattern is inspired by the uniform worn in the first season at the new stadium. The front graphic of the new home kit is inspired by the unique architecture of the Etihad Stadium.
The jersey is still dominated by the historic Sky Blue color which has become the club’s identity. The silhouettes of the four giant towers seen from outside the stadium detail the stripes on the jersey.
For your information, Man City made the important step of moving three and a half miles to the Etihad Stadium in August 2003, after 80 years at Maine Road. This marked the start of a new era for the club, one marked by new records, new legends and great moments.
